Overview

The TikTok Integration project expands the dropshipping app's functionality to include TikTok Shop, beyond just Shopify. This enhancement allows users to seamlessly connect their TikTok Shop with the app, simplifying and streamlining their operations for more efficient management.

Challenge

The existing dropshipping application was initially designed to integrate solely with Shopify. To expand functionality and give users the flexibility to choose their preferred platform, we needed to overhaul the entire UI and development framework to support multiple integrations, including TikTok Shop. The primary challenge was to efficiently redesign the UI to incorporate these new integrations, particularly TikTok, while ensuring a seamless user experience and completing the project within a tight timeframe.

Objectives

  1. Develop a flexible integration system allowing users to seamlessly connect their preferred platforms, including TikTok Shop, within the dropshipping application.
  2. Redesign the user interface to accommodate new integrations while maintaining usability and efficiency for managing products and orders.
  3. Ensure brand consistency by integrating TikTok Shop's design elements harmoniously with the existing dropshipping application.
  4. Enhance user engagement and satisfaction by providing a streamlined and intuitive experience for managing TikTok Shop within the dropshipping platform.

Design Solutions

Setting Page:

The original design only allowed users to connect to a Shopify store. We enhanced the Setting page, enabling users to choose and connect to either TikTok or Shopify, providing greater flexibility and control.

Find Product:

We added icons to clearly indicate when a TikTok or Shopify store is connected. A quick filter was introduced to allow users to easily filter for TikTok-eligible products. Additionally, we revamped the feature that pushed products to the Import list, changing it to a Favorite list for more intuitive product management, allowing users to push products directly with ease.

Outcome and Impact

The successful integration of TikTok Shop into the existing dropshipping application enabled users with TikTok Shops to connect effortlessly, resulting in a 20% increase in user numbers. This significant growth highlights the project's success. Post-integration, we initiated a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote the new feature. The campaign included targeted announcements on social media, strategic banners and pop-ups on both the website and mobile app, and focused Google Ads. TikTok Integration Event Signage at Dallas Tradeshow 2024

This project features the tabletop signage and standing banners designed for the TikTok Integration event, showcased at the Dallas Tradeshow in February 2024. The signage was created to highlight the seamless integration of TikTok with our platform, capturing attention and effectively communicating key messages to attendees.
